Kim Kardashian’s alleged new lover has won over her mother by lavishing her with a £700 ($1,000) bunch of flowers.

The TV star is understood to be dating Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Real Madrid. Kim went to see Cristiano play while in Spain last month and joined him afterwards in a top restaurant, where they shocked diners by spending the whole evening canoodling.

They have kept in touch ever since, but Kim’s mother Kris Jenner is said to have been sceptical about the romance. She was worried Cristiano was not serious enough about Kim, so he made it his mission to show his feelings are genuine.

“Cristiano is pulling out all the stops,” a source told National Enquirer magazine. “He sent a £700 ($1,000) bouquet of flowers to Kris. She felt it was a really sweet gesture, and it won him some serious brownie points with Kim too.”

Kim and Cristiano are thought to be serious about each other, with the brunette beauty even looking for a property in Miami as she knows the sportsman loves the city.

Shortly after they first met Kim had to complete a promotional tour of Australia, and was amazed by the lengths Cristiano went to ensure he was forgotten. “He called her every single day when she was in Australia, and he sent her all sorts of expensive things,” the source added. “He is totally her type, since she loves muscular athletes.”
