Kristin Davis Says Chris Noth's Rumours Were Made Up

Kristin Davis says Chris Noth made up rumours the cast of Sex and the City 2 got “the runs” while filming in Morocco because he was jealous he didn’t get to go.

Kristin stars opposite Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall in the second big screen instalment of the hit US television series. The women travel to Morocco in the film, where they run into Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw’s ex-fiancé Aiden, played by John Corbett.

Chris Noth, who plays Carrie’s husband John, better known as Mr. Big, admitted he was devastated when he discovered he would not be flying to the African country, but felt better when he heard all his co-stars had upset stomachs from the exotic food.

“I said, ‘That lucky dog got to go to Morocco and I didn’t?’ But it was OK because they all got the runs when they were out there,” Chris said.

But Kristin has denied she and the other actresses suffered any kind of stomach problems. She insists Chris made the rumours up because he was so envious of the three months they spent in the sun while he was stuck in freezing New York.

“No, no, no. That isn’t true! Chris, you have to understand that he is really jealous he did not get to go to Morocco. That is what those rumours are about! He’s just jealous,” Kristin laughed to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O.
