Denise Richards: I Let My Kids Be Kids
By MusicRooms on 14/05/2010
Denise Richards has revealed that her parenting philosophy is to let her two daughters just “be kids”.
The Blonde And Blonder star, 39, has two young daughters Sam, six, and Lola, four, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
She admitted that she prefers to just let her children hold on to their youth.
Asked about her parenting philosophy, Richards said in an interview with parenting website Babble.com: "I let my kids be kids. If they put together an outfit that's mismatched, I let them wear it.
"To them, it looks good and I love that. I believe in having somewhat of a schedule – we eat dinner at the same time and they go to bed at the same time (I make exceptions when it isn't a school night!).”
She added: "When they do something to hurt each others' feelings they have to apologise."
