“You have to work with what you're given. I think you learn that particular rule during your schooldays. If the cheerleaders ain't coming to you, you have to go to them. With something impressive. Like making 'em laugh,” he told Irish movie website Movies.ie.

Since his breakthrough performance as Andy Stitzer in the 2005 movie The 40 Year Old Virgin, Steve has established himself as one of the biggest names in American comedy.

The 47-year-old received critical acclaim for his performance as Michael Scott in American TV show The Office, and has appeared in a number of successful movies.

Steve stars alongside Tina Fey in new film Date Night, a comedy about a husband and wife who end up solving a crime by mistake. In the movie Steve leaves the heartthrob status to Mark Wahlberg, who shows off his buff body as the perpetually shirtless security expert Holbrooke.
