Gerard Butler Isn't Always A Nice Person
Gerard Butler The Scottish hunk has had to shoot several emotional scenes for films he has appeared in and preparing to feel angry or upset can have a negative effect on him off camera. Although Gerard always tries to be pleasant with the cast and crew, sometimes the feelings his character is experiencing spill into real life.
“I'm pretty good on set and I think I have a reputation for that. But I do play some pretty heavy roles sometimes. It's not that I go as far as the Christian Bale outburst but I can get a bit into it sometimes,” he said in an interview with BBC’s Newsbeat. “It's hard because you spend the whole day dipping into this crazy emotion and your screaming or crying or whatever it is. It doesn't make me this nicest person, but I always try to be.”
Gerard’s The Bounty Hunter co-star Jennifer Aniston recently said she can’t tolerate working with people who are moody on movie sets. The actress says she is a generally upbeat person and doesn’t understand why some Hollywood stars treat their cast and crew members badly.
Gerard has confirmed Jennifer is a joy to work with because she loves her job and remains in a good mood even after spending long hours shooting scenes.
“There's no one better than Jen for that, she's very appreciative of her cast and especially the crew,” he said.
