Katie Price slipped up on a UK TV show by referring to her spouse Alex Reid by her ex-husband’s name.

The glamour model got divorced from singer Peter Andre last year. She began dating cage fighter Alex shortly after the split, and the pair married in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony earlier this year.

Kate insists her relationship with Alex is very different from what she had with Peter, explaining they want to be more private. When explaining this on This Morning earlier today, Katie made the embarrassing gaffe. “Mine and Pete... sorry, mine and Alex’s relationship is different as well,” she said. “He’s not in my reality programme as much, he’ll be in it a bit as he’s in my life but it’s not about him. There’s so much about him people don’t know – you don’t see us doing interviews together.

“I’m so much happier, there’s no stress. I don’t want to dwell on it too much as we’re private. I’m just happy and I can be myself. I made that mistake before, you can’t change to be with someone. It’s nice to just actually be myself.”

Katie has been open about her desire to start a family with Alex. She raises three kids with Peter, but is keen to have another baby in the near future.

She revealed she isn’t pregnant yet, but is actively trying. “We are trying for a baby – I can’t wait. I’m on my period now though, so I’m not pregnant. You can all follow my life and my cycle. Everyone knows – the whole family is excited and can’t wait,” she revealed. “I’m completely settled. I’ve got good people around me and no-one telling me what to do, it’s perfect. I just go home and I’m excited to go there. It’s going to be a really good year.”
