Jordan And Alex Reid Planning A Fairground-Themed Wedding Celebration
Jordan The glamour model married her cage fighter lover in a shock ceremony in Las Vegas on February 2. The pair are now keen to throw a lavish party to celebrate their nuptials, with Katie set to spend a reported £1 million on the bash.
She wants all her friends and family to attend the party, and has told those close to her there will be no expense spared. Katie, also known as Jordan, wants a huge dress, and hopes to secure a big-name singer to perform.
“She wants a traditional English theme, but likes the idea of a fairground element and pony rides for the kids,” a source explained. “She wants a big performer too, she’s hot on the Black Eyed Peas, and is in touch with Will.i.am. It will be worth the wait as Katie will turn on her inner Jordan with fake eyelashes and big hair galore.”
However, the star won’t have any pink at the celebration, even though it is her favourite colour. Her marriage to Peter Andre was themed around the colour, and she doesn’t want any reminders of their three-and-a-half year union.
“It’s set to be a star-studded as her first wedding. The marquee should be filled with all kinds of English country garden style flowers including calla lilies, cotton lavender and dahlias, and guests will be welcomed with champagne, canapés and fluffy cupcakes,” the source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. “Guests will be picked up by coach and taken to a top secret location on the day. One thing the wedding won’t be is pink. She’s been there, done that. She’s moved on.”
