Everyone remembers Michael J Fox performing Johnny B. Goode in Back To The Future, and at a benefit concert in New York on Saturday night, he rolled back the clock 25 years to crack it out again.

Appearing at the A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Cure Parkinsons benefit show, Fox took to the stage to re-enact the classic scene from the 1985 time travel movie. The benefit, held annually, is in support for the Michael J Fox Foundation, which raises money to battle Parkinson’s and helps the people affected by the disease, which Fox has publicly battled for years.

The actor mimed the song back in the 80s, as he couldn’t play the guitar, but since then he has mastered the song well enough to be able to belt it out for the appreciative crowd.

Fox has never allowed his disease to stop him continuing to appear in films and TV series’ sporadically, including an upcoming appearance in Curb Your Enthusiasm.
