Amy Winehouse's Ex Considering Becoming A Scientologist

Amy Winehouse’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil is considering becoming a Scientologist to help him stay off drugs.

The couple divorced last year on the grounds of Amy’s infidelity, but have become close again and are believed to be planning to wed. Blake is determined to stay clean following a stint in rehab and wants to prove to worried loved ones that he and Amy can have a sober relationship. In a bid to get advice about keeping off drugs, he has reportedly been looking into Scientology, a controversial religion founded by the late science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard.

"He has been reading lots of Scientology books and researching it on the internet. He is seriously thinking about becoming an active member,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. "Blake has been trying out all kinds of ways to readdress his life since doing rehab. He's been eating healthily. Then he got heavily into bikram yoga. Now it's Scientology."

Famous Scientologists include Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes and John Travolta.

Scientology leaders conduct a Narconon rehab programme for drug addicts and followers of the religion also undergo regular “audits” which are similar to counselling sessions.

Blake was recently living in Sheffield in northern England as part of the grounds of his court-ordered rehab. He underwent treatment following his early release from prison, where he served time for grievous bodily harm and trial fixing. However, he is now planning to live with Amy in her London home.
