Michael Jackson's Son Never Saw Stun Gun
Michael Jackson’s eight-year-old son never saw the stun gun reports claim was pointed at him, the family’s lawyer has claimed.
Katherine Jackson’s attorney Adam Streisand has rubbished claims Blanket was almost attacked by Jermaine Jackson’s 13-year-old son Jaafar, who had purchased the immobilising device on the internet. He insists none of the late ‘King of Pop’s children were in the room when Jaafar unwrapped the weapon and tested it on a piece of paper, but says Prince Michael, 12, witnessed security guards confiscating the stun gun.
“Jaafar opened the package in his bathroom and tested it on a piece of paper,” Streisand said in a statement. “Blanket Jackson never saw or heard the Taser. Neither did Paris Jackson. Prince saw the Taser in possession of security.”
Streisand confirmed Jaafar had purchased the device using a credit card and had it delivered to the Jackson family’s home in Encino, Los Angeles, where he lives with his mother Alejandra, and his siblings Jermajesty, Genevieve and Randall.
It had been reported security guards rescued Blanket when they caught Jaafar trying to use a stun gun on him.
Multiple sources told gossip website TMZ.com that the guards heard a strange noise one afternoon last week and went up to the second floor of the residence to investigate. Once there, they were allegedly forced to “stop Jermaine’s kids from stunning Blanket”. They then confiscated the gun.
Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services officers visited the Jackson family home in Encino on Monday night at approximately 10.30pm, spending six and a half hours interviewing staff about the stun gun incident. They are reportedly trying to control the access the children living in the residence have to the internet to avoid similar things happening in the future.
Katherine Jackson, 79, has been caring for Prince, Paris and Blanket since their father died last June.
