Alex Reid The cage-fighter married the glamour model in a Las Vegas quickie ceremony last month. He has furiously denied reports they are already fighting, insisting he can’t keep his hands off his new bride.
“There have been stories that Kate and I are fighting already and that our honeymoon period is over,” he said. “That’s nonsense – we haven’t had a single argument since we got married. There’s nothing about her that annoys me, and she says the same about me.
“She doesn’t even mind me leaving the toilet seat up or farting and burping! The other day, we did play a game where we weren’t allowed to show each other any affection for an hour – I gave up after 13 minutes and grabbed her for a snog!”
Katie, 31, and Alex are currently following a strict diet to help them conceive their first child together. They have cut out all processed food and limited their alcohol consumption and hope to be able to announce Katie’s pregnancy soon.
“Kate and I are both on a major diet and fitness drive at the moment. I’ve got to lose nearly two stone before my big fight in ten weeks, and Kate’s training for the London Marathon again,” he told Star magazine. “We’re cutting out sugar and processed foods, as well limiting pasta, bread and booze – which are empty calories. I’m already feeling better for it – and being so healthy will hopefully help us conceive baby Reid in the next few months!”
