Lily Allen Devastated After Her Dog Was Mauled

Lily Allen is devastated after her beloved dog was mauled by other canines.
The 24-year-old singer was horrified when she found Mabel bleeding profusely from wounds on her legs and abdomen. She rushed the pup to her local vet, where it was treated and sent back to her North London home for some rest.
Hours after the attack, Lily posted a picture of a sleeping Mabel covered in bandages on her Twitter account with the caption: “Mabel got beaten up by bigger dogs. She went to doggy hospital, but she's OK.”
Lily adopted the dog from Battersea Dogs Home in 2008. Since choosing the “fat and sweet” pup from the shelter, Lily has rarely been apart from her pet. She is frequently seen walking it through the streets and parks near her home and is often photographed buying the pooch treats at pet shops.
