Cowell’s Fiancée Is The "Missing Link He Has Been Searching For"
Simon Cowell The music mogul proposed to make-up artist Mezghan Hussainy earlier this month and the pair are reportedly planning to wed later this year. Simon’s ex-girlfriend Sinitta, who has remained close to the 50-year-old star since their split, is thrilled he has finally found true love and is settling down.
“Mezghan is the missing link that Simon has been searching for. He’s known as the man who has got everything, but now he really does have everything,” Sinitta told Closer magazine. “Simon has said she is the one and I think she is right. I know he is very happy. She is lovely and I am happy for him.”
In the past Simon had always insisted he would never get married, but recently admitted Mezghan had made him reconsider his bachelor lifestyle. Simon is so smitten with the 36-year-old he has even declared he wants to have children with her. He is understood to have popped the question with a £250,000 band from upmarket jewellers Graff while the couple were enjoying a romantic meal on Valentine's Day.
The pair have been dating for around six months and Mezghan has started moving her belongings into Simon’s lavish Los Angeles mansion. Sinitta has dismissed Simon is as difficult in real life as his cutting comments on talent shows such as American Idol suggest. She is confident Mezghan will find it easy to live with him, adding: “I don’t find him difficult at all. He is quite easygoing!”
