Robert Pattinson Dating Kristen Stewart
Robert Pattinson The pair met when they starred in vampire drama Twilight, and have been forced to deny they are an item ever since. They both attended the BAFTA Film Awards in London on Sunday night, and while they took pains not to be photographed together, Robert confessed they are a couple.
“It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes,” he told British newspaper The Sun. “We can't arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it's impossible. We are here together and it's a public event but it's not easy. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”
Sitting apart from each other at the event eventually became too much for Robert, 23, and 19-year-old Kristen. They reportedly snubbed the traditional dinner after the ceremony to head back to their hotel for some “quality” time together. As the main courses were being served, the pair dashed away hand-in-hand and jumped into a taxi.
“They went to such lengths to pretend they weren't an item, then acted shocked when they were caught out running down the corridors holding hands and into the cab,” a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror. "It was obvious from the way they were stealing little looks at each other that they were dying to get back to their hotel so they could spend some time together.”
Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the first movie in the Twilight franchise, has previously confirmed the pair are dating, saying they got together while shooting recent release New Moon.
