Cheryl Cole Sends Ashley Packing
Cheryl Cole Cheryl Cole has reportedly sent her husband Ashley a message telling him to leave their marital home.
The singer has been left in turmoil following allegations her football player spouse has cheated on her with five different women. The claims started earlier this month, when a topless model said he had sent her raunchy pictures of himself. Ashley denied the allegations, but other women have since alleged he has slept with them while married.
Cheryl is currently in Los Angeles working on her solo music, but has not worn her wedding ring since the story broke. It has now been claimed she has decided to end her relationship, and has asked Ashley to move out of the home they share in Surrey before she returns to the UK.
“Cheryl has decided enough is enough and is going to divorce him,” a source told The Sun. “She has told Ashley to get out of the family home because she does not wish to see him. She has no desire to hear any more excuses or explanations.
“Grand gestures will not work either. When she left for America last week she wasn’t exactly sure of her future. She was wounded and embarrassed. She was extremely upset and started making plans for divorce then.”
Cheryl apparently told Ashley of her decision via text message, reportedly writing: “Move out. It’s over.”
The 26-year-old beauty is said to be planning to release a statement revealing the end of her marriage as early as this week. She is adamant Ashley should be the one to leave their mansion, but is keen to appear as “dignified” as possible. If he won’t move out, Cheryl apparently plans to move into a cottage the couple built in the grounds of their home for her mother Joan.
In 2008, it was alleged Ashley had slept with a hairdresser after a drunken night out. Cheryl refused to wear her wedding ring following the revelation, but the pair worked through their problems and she was pictured in the band eight months later.
The new claims have apparently hit Cheryl hard, with the star struggling to eat and hardly sleeping.
She has apparently told pals she feels she has been living a lie. “I’ve had enough. It feels like there is no way back. I simply just don’t know which way to turn any more. He feels like he’s a stranger to me,” she is quoted as saying.
