Angelina Jolie Buys £12,000 Tree For Brad
Angelina Jolie The actress purchased the 200-year-old olive tree from a garden centre near Chateau Miraval, the couple’s home in Valbonne, France. The gift is expected to take pride of place in the gardens of the lavish home, which already have an impressive selection of native and exotic plants.
“Ange bought it from a nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, near their house. It's a very special tree and cost her a fortune,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
Olive trees are a symbol for peace and longevity. Angelina is thought to have chosen one as a gift to further quash rumours she and Brad are on the verge of splitting.
Angelina and Brad have been dating since 2005 and raise six children together, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, three-year-old Shiloh and 18-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
