Lindsay Lohan's Cluttered Home Takes Too Much "Emotional Space"
Lindsay Lohan says her cluttered home takes up too much of her “emotional space”.
The 23-year-old has given an interview to US show The Insider, in which she revealed the inside of her Los Angeles apartment. The property is crammed full with clothes and shoes, with boxes of footwear reaching the ceiling in her bedroom.
Lindsay called on the expertise of a Hollywood professional to help her clear her home, revealing she never wants it to get this messy again. “It makes you feel like unorganised, how dishevelled some of it is and how much there is, yes the clutter, it takes up a lot of space mentally and emotionally. It becomes hard to focus sometimes and it gets very distracting,” Lindsay told interviewer Niecy Nash.
The star added she thinks getting her home in order once and for all will help her in every area of her life. Lindsay hinted she is as keen to clean up other parts of her life as she is her property, but didn’t want to be drawn on the matter further. “I just need to keep what I really need here so it doesn’t go back to what it is now. Same with people, same with behaviour but that’s personal stuff that I have to work on,” she said.
Last year, Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan alleged his daughter was addicted to prescription medication and released a number of secretly-recorded phone conversations in an effort to make her get help. Lindsay has maintained his claims are ridiculous.
