Victoria Beckham The singer-turned-fashion designer had no idea her soccer star spouse had played the practical joke until the Right Said Fred song began blaring from her cell phone when she was out. Victoria thinks David made the change after borrowing her phone to look at a message from music mogul Simon Cowell, following Victoria’s stint alongside him on American Idol.
Although she found it funny, Victoria is growing sick of the tune but has no idea how to change it. “It was David who set my phone up to play Right Said Fred. Honestly - he's trying to take the p**s and I can't change it because I'm rubbish with phones. I'll be at the gym and suddenly I've got Right Said Fred playing and I'm so mortified,” she told Love magazine.
The song features the lyrics, ‘I’m too sexy for my shirt/ I'm a model you know what I mean. And I do my little turn on the catwalk’, and Victoria admits the ringtone is doing nothing for her reputation as a serious fashion designer.
She also revealed she is planning to branch into menswear, following the success of her range of high-end dresses. “I'm intrigued by men's tailoring. It's something I'd love to learn more about,” she said.
