Nick Cannon Says His Mother Is A "Thug"

The 29-year-old rapper, who is married to Mariah Carey, has claimed his mother Beth is so terrifying that one of his ex-girlfriends had to get a restraining order against her.
Writing on his Twitter account, Nick – who dated several beauties including singer Christina Milian and socialite Kim Kardashian before tying the knot with Mariah in 2008 - told fans: “My Mom is a THUG! She is so gangsta one of my ex's put a restraining order on my Momma because she was so scared! LOL!”
He then asked his followers, “How does your mother feel about your significant other?”
But Nick is hoping the prospect of becoming a grandmother to his and 40-year-old Mariah’s first child will soften Beth up. The TV presenter has revealed he is keen to start a family with the superstar singer and hopes Mariah will get pregnant soon.
“We absolutely plan to have a family. But we have got to prioritise, because that's a major, major priority,” he told MTV.com. “That's like the only priority in life, when you think about it, is starting and raising a family. We want to make sure everything is out of the way and that we don't have any distractions.”
