Kate Hudson "Can’t Get Rid Of" Her Ex-Husband
The couple have a six-year-old son, Ryder, together and Kate says Chris spends so much time at her house, she often forgets she is now single. She claims she still loves her former husband, and is glad he is still playing such an important role in her life.
“My ex-husband is around so much I don’t feel like I’m single,” Kate told Cleo magazine. “I can’t get rid of him, but in the best way.”
Kate claims her divorce from Chris was a blessing in disguise because they are both so much happier now. She thinks their current situation is better for everybody, including Ryder.
“As a matter of fact, I think it’s actually been surprisingly wonderful. The divorce was something we both wanted and we both still love each other,” she explained. “I can’t believe I got so lucky. I just feel like, personally, I’m in a really nice place because I’m so happy being alone with our son and Chris is to. It’s a really nice situation to be in.”
