Gabourey Sidibe Impressed By Geroge Clooney's Height
Gabourey Sidibe The actress has shot to fame following her performance in new dramatic movie Precious. She has attended the recent SAG and Golden Globe Awards, and admits finding meeting so many top stars daunting. However, her feelings soon changed when she released most actors are vertically challenged.
“I have found that most people I have met are much shorter than you would imagine,” she said. “In fact most people seem really, really short - apart from George Clooney. I met him and he was amazing. He is lovely and has a few inches on me which was quite a surprise.”
This is not the first time Gabourey has expressed an interest in the height of a celebrity. She recently revealed she was awestruck when she met actor Steve Buscemi, and was even more amazed when she realised how tall Robin Thicke is.
“Steve Buscemi was at one of our premieres, and I was like, ‘Holy sh*t! It’s Steve Buscemi!’ My big creep moment, however, came early on while filming Precious. Paula Patton, who stars in the film, is married to Robin Thicke, who I love. He’s so tall. He came to set and hugged me, like a good seven or eight times, and I nearly died. But I kept it cool. I kept it together. And then he left, and I started crying, like sobbing,” she laughed.
