Robert Pattinson linked to finance movie
Robert Pattinson Robert achieved international fame thanks to his role in the Twilight movie franchise where he portrays vampire Edward Cullen. The final film in the series isn’t due for release until 2012, although fans are eager to find out what other avenues Robert will pursue in his career.
According to reports on Deadline, the hunk will star in David’s futuristic movie, an adaptation of the novel by American writer Don DeLillo.
It is believed Robert will play Eric Packer, a daring finance expert who risks his fortune by betting against Japan’s yen on a risky day and finds himself being targeted by assassins.
It will be a huge departure from the teen-friendly Twilight movies, and is expected to feature some shocking violent and sexual scenes. Other stars linked to the film include Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti.
Robert has been making some interesting choices outside of the Twilight franchise, proving he’s keen to be seen as a versatile actor. The talented star appeared in last year’s drama Remember Me alongside Pierce Brosnan, and this year he will appear in romance Water for Elephants opposite Reese Witherspoon.
