Jerry Hall: Jagger was sexual predator
Jerry Hall The 54-year-old model has revealed in her tome Jerry Hall: My Life in Pictures that the Rolling Stones singer pursued her and showered her with gifts while she was engaged to Roxy Music star Bryan Ferry.
Jerry began an affair with Mick in 1977 while she was still engaged and Mick was married.
Even though she was madly in love with Mick, Jerry was unable to put a stop to the rocker’s womanising ways. She succeeded in insisting he stopped taking heroin to be with her, but she never felt he was being faithful.
“Mick was a dangerous sexual predator and, although I loved him and he swore undying love for me, I felt unsure of him,” Jerry revealed. “I had weaned him off drugs, but they had been replaced by sex and he had never had proper treatment.”
The pair tied the knot at an unofficial Balinese ceremony in 1990. But even on the eve of their wedding, Jerry was faced with suggestions Mick was having an affair. He managed to convince her that the claims were untrue and she went ahead with the ceremony.
“Around this time, rumours were circulating that Mick had stolen Eric Clapton’s girlfriend, Carla Bruni, and had started an affair with her. Mick denied it, saying it was nothing and that he loved me and was marrying me,” Jerry explained. “So I stifled my doubts and went ahead with our wedding.”
Jerry finally decided to leave Mick in 1999 - when she heard reports Brazilian model Luciana Morad was pregnant with his baby.
The star insists she still has feelings for the musician, but she is happier without him. “Of course, I still love him – how can you un-love? But, we have both moved on,” she added.
