Katy Perry 'embarrasses' fomer high school crush
The singer returned to her old school earlier this week and decided to share her story of unrequited love before performing her track Ur So Gay.
According to Radar Online, she told the audience at Dos Pueblos High School, "You were the most popular kid in my class. You never wanted to date me, it was always Amanda Wayne. You really chose right, honey. What's up now? I'm going to dedicate this next one to Shane Lopes."
But Lopes responded on Radar Online, claiming the story was made up and that he did make the right choice.
He said, "That whole story is fabricated. I never got the feeling that she had a crush on me. We've always been friends. I think it was more for entertainment and she was figuring out a way to embarrass me just for fun."
