Tori Spelling sets off alarm with cleansing fire
The 37-year-old actress heard that the herb could be used to “cleanse energy” in rooms, and so decided to burn it throughout her large Beverly Hills mansion. She enlisted the help of her children Liam, three, and two-year-old Stella, and the trio had a great time until the smoke from the burning vegetation hit the house’s state of the art fire alarm system.
All the sirens in the mansion started going off and within minutes the local fire brigade was calling to check that everything was OK. Unfortunately, Tori couldn’t remember the alarm’s “safe code” and firemen were forced to visit her home to ensure it wasn’t on fire.
“Kids and I were just burning sage thru out the house. Heard its good to do to cleanse energy 1 time a year. Of course I set of fire alarm. Then couldn't remember the code when they called (sic),” Tori wrote on her Twitter account.
Liam and Stella are Tori’s children with her husband Dean McDermott.
