Hugh Jackman stars in cancer sufferer's video birthday present
Kristian Anderson, 35, from Sydney, Australia, was diagnosed with cancer of the bowel and liver in October last year.
Since then he has been undergoing intense chemotherapy and has just made the video as a birthday present to Rachel, his wife of seven years and a big fan of the Wolverine star, as a way of saying thank you for her love and support.
Kristian spoke about his plan to make the video for Rachel's birthday on August 22 to radio presenter Gus Worland from the Triple M radio station's The Grill Team who approached Hugh, a good friend, and asked him if he would like to appear in it.
The New York-based Aussie superstar immediately said yes and filmed a segment for the video in which he speaks directly to the camera addressing Rachel, saying: “He loves you Rachel.
“He loves YOU, Rachel!”
New Zealand Prime Minister John Key also recorded a birthday message for Rachel as she is a Kiwi.
