Katy Perry: I love Russell’s wrong humour
Katy Perry The pop star began dating the comic actor after they met at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Although many were initially surprised by the pairing, Russell and Katy quickly realised they had a lot in common. They share a similar sense of humour and Russell never fails to make Katy laugh. He is known for his outrageous comments and although many people find his jokes offensive, Katy enjoys listening to the funnyman.
"I really appreciate his sense of humour,” Katy explained in new television show The VMAs: Revealed. “It's real dark, it's real wrong and it's really funny."
Russell accepts his humour isn’t always appreciated by other people, but he is pleased Katy finds him amusing. He is madly in love with the singer and can’t believe she wants to spend the rest of her life with him, despite his previous serial womanising and drug addiction. Russell believes he has found his perfect woman and can’t wait to marry her later this year.
"It seems like I can say whatever I want and sort of get away with it," Russell smiled.
