Jessica Alba: I'm a strict mama

Jessica Alba says she has to put her foot down with her spirited two-year-old daughter Honor.
“She’s very independent and likes to do everything that I tell her not to — so I have to lay down the law,” the 29-year-old actress told People.
“I’m very strict with her. When it’s time for her to eat, whether she’s colouring or doing whatever … it’s time to eat. So she freaks out and cries and then she gets a time out if she cries for no reason. She likes to have big girl cups and big boy T-shirts and princess dresses. It’s crazy. I didn’t even teach her that stuff!”
Maintaining strict sleeping habits is crucial, Alba said: “She goes to bed at 7pm and wakes up at 9am. I don’t play with that.”
