Despite pulling out ot the US Open tournament due to an injured foot and ending her relationship with rapper and actor Common, Williams is staying positive and is on the lookout for a new man.
While at the USTA and Heineken US Open Player Party in New York recently, the 28 year-old told People.com: "Call me! It's that easy, just pick up the phone and call me!"
She added: "I'm looking for a guy who is close to his parents – his mum mostly, because you can learn a lot about a guy by the way he treats his mum. And someone who loves themselves, because if they take care of themselves, they are able to take care of you."
But Williams is not looking for someone with bad habits.
She added: "I don't like smokers, and of course people who disrespect their parents and families. Family is very important to me."
