Kellan Lutz wants to be taken seriously
Kellan Lutz The hunky actor gained a legion of adoring fans after he shot to fame in the hit movie franchise Twilight alongside fellow heartthrobs Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
Kellan plays ripped vampire Emmett Cullen in the hit film, and fans are treated to regular glimpses of his toned body throughout the movies.
But Kellan admits he has grown tired of all the attention he receives about his buff body, and says he would prefer to be taken seriously for his acting talent.
"By no means do I want to be a piece of meat for the rest of my career. It's funny when you get asked to do a talk show, and then they follow it up with requesting you take your shirt off," the star told Us magazine.
The 25-year-old did confess he’s proud of his physique though, revealing that he enjoys being able to boost box office takings by stripping off.
"It's nice to be one of the guys that can help sell a movie by taking his shirt off," he added.
As well as starring in the Twilight movies, Kellan has also flaunted his muscles as a model for Calvin Klein X underwear. The heartthrob recently beat Hollywood hunks such as Zac Efron and his Twilight co-star Taylor when he topped Men’s Health magazine’s list of Best Summer Bodies.
