Simon Cowell has taken up gardening
Simon Cowell Simon has been having some problems with the current series of the talent competition what with judge Cheryl Cole being off ill, Dannii Minogue taking time off to have a baby and the recent auto-tune scandal.
But according to his friends the 50-year-old hasn't let the pressure get to him and has been gardening in both his LA mansion and London home to relieve his stress.
According to British newspaper the Daily Sport, a pal said: "Simon's not one to let things get on top of him, expecially now he's got his new hobby.
"He loves watering the flowers and digging up the weeds, he says it is really therapeutic."
The friend added: "He's been checking up on his begonias on the internet, and plans to plant some rose bushes for next summer.
"If he ever quits showbusiness, he could have a flourishing career in the world of gardening."
