Julia Roberts: Javier Bardem is sexy
The 42-year-old actress stars opposite the Spanish star in upcoming drama Eat, Pray, Love. Javier made a name for himself playing villains, and Julia has admitted she was scared of him when they first met.
The actress was soon won over by Javier’s “gentle” personality, and says the rest of the cast and crew followed suit. By the end of shooting Julia claims the hunk had a crowd of women fussing over him at all times.
“He’s such a sweetheart,” Julia told Total Film magazine. “He’s such a gentle person. Women were swooning over him in his trailer. Like gasping audibly!”
Eat, Pray, Love is based on the memoirs of American author Elizabeth Gilbert and documents her decision to spend one year travelling the world to get over her difficult divorce. During the course of the film, Elizabeth, played by Julia, spends four months in India, seeking spirituality, four months in Italy eating and four months in Indonesia looking for love.
