Slash ‘to divorce’
Slash The former Guns N’ Roses guitarist married model Perla Ferrar in October 2001. The couple have two sons together, eight-year-old London Emilio and Cash Anthony, six.
Gossip website TMZ claims the rocker has filed legal documents at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
It is believed Slash – real name Saul Hudson – is citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Slash is reportedly willing to pay spousal support to Perla, and is requesting joint physical and legal custody of their children.
The legal papers seemingly reveal the pair separated on July 15 2010. Slash and Perla are not believed to have signed a prenuptial agreement before they got married.
The 45-year-old musician recently admitted he and Perla used to have a wild relationship, comparing their blazing arguments to the tumultuous romance between Sex Pistols rocker Sid Vicious and his lover Nancy Spungen.
“Sid and Nancy had nothing on us,” he said in June. “We weren’t necessarily that stupid though. Although we did have a couple of rows that were, you know, serious. Cops coming and s**t.”
Slash went on to insist the pair had enjoyed a calmer relationship since he gave up drink and drugs four years ago.
