Sandra Bullock gives first TV interview since splitting from ex
Sandra Bullock Bullock was speaking in a TV interview for the first time since her split from ex-husband Jesse James.
The Oscar-winning actress avoided talking about the breakdown of her marriage during the interview with NBC’s Today Show, which she appeared on to promote her charity work with the health clinic at the Warren Easton Charter High School in New Orleans.
Instead, she focused on her new life in New Orleans and the adoption of her baby son Louis.
“He’s from New Orleans. He’s a little Cajun cookie,” Bullock says in the interview, which is due to air tomorrow in the US.
Asked how she had managed to keep the adoption secret, even during her public split from Jesse James, the Miss Congeniality star told host Matt Lauer: “It takes good people with integrity… that know how to keep their mouth shut, that know the bigger picture, that don't sell out their friends.
“Those people are all over the place. But again, we don't like to talk about it, because it doesn't sell a magazine.”
She added: “I have friends and family that are filled with massive amounts of integrity.
“And it shouldn't be an oddity."
