Brooke Shields breaks her hand

Brooke Shields has reportedly broken her hand in a painful mishap while rehearsing for a Los Angeles musical.
The 45-year-old actress is understood to have taken a tumble as she prepared for her role in Leap Of Faith, a stage production due to open in October.
Her rep confirmed the nasty injury to People.com but assured fans it will not affect Shields' performance.
"The cast will be off before previews on September 11," said the rep. "It was a minor break and did not affect the production schedule."
The former model, who shot to fame as a teenager in The Blue Lagoon, will star alongside Raúl Esparza in the show, opening on October 3 at the Ahmanson Theatre.
A twice-married New Yorker, Shields has two daughters Rowan, 7, and Grier, 4.
