Katy Perry fascinated by miaowing peacocks
Katy Perry Perry said she’d love to take her puss, Kitty Perry, on tour with her but “cats can’t travel like dogs can”.
Pictured on the cover of Australian mag Girlfriend covered in flowers, she added: “I’m trying to train her, but she hates being on a leash.”
Katy also wrote a song called Peacock for her new album, Teenage Dream.
Talking about the inspiration for the song, she said: “Well, I’ve been attracted to a lot of peacocks recently. I first saw them in India while I was on a trip there and I found them so fascinating. Firstly, it’s the male that has the big, extravagant spread of feathers. Also, they can’t fly and they sound like cats, so they are my favourite things ever. I just saw that and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, you are a walking innuendo'."
