Brian McFadden: Delta was rude on music set
Brian McFadden The 30-year-old Westlife singer has been engaged to Australian singer-and-actress Delta Goodrem since 2007. The couple recorded a duet called Mistakes for Brian’s new solo album Wall of Sound, and admit things got very “emotional” when they were shooting the music promo for the track.
Mistakes is about a warring couple whose relationship is breaking down, and the video sees Brian and Delta trashing an apartment as they scream at each other. Delta enjoyed shooting the clip, but Brian ended up furious and upset because Delta said so many mean things to him.
“She was throwing personal things at me in front of like 80 people,” Brian told Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O. “I got right p**sed off. The director was like, ‘Look p**sed off’, and I was like, ‘I am p**sed off!’
“I refused to say mean things to her but she had no problem saying mean things to me! You can see how angry I am in the video and I wasn’t acting. I was seething, thinking, ‘I can’t believe she said that in front of all these people! What a b***h!’”
Delta giggled throughout Brian’s complaint, saying the video wasn’t hard for her because she is an actress. Brian also opened up about his relationship with Delta, saying their real life fights are much less dramatic than the one in their promo.
“We have a little argument and she’ll throw a glass of wine in my face and that’s it,” he said.
