Demi Lovato regrets revealing Jonas romance
Demi Lovato The 17-year-old actress and singer started dating her Camp Rock 2 co-star in March and gave several interviews gushing about her feelings for him. After just three months together, Demi and Joe split, leaving the actress devastated.
The pair remained friends after the break-up and are currently touring the US together but Demi says she regrets telling the world about their relationship.
"I learned my lesson," she told People magazine. "It's not very much fun when you break up in a public relationship. So, maybe next time keep a secret.
"You want to say to your fans, 'Guess what, I'm so in love with somebody'. You want to shout it from the rooftops. That's what you do when you fall in love. At the same time, I learned my lesson. You know, I'll go public when I marry someone one day."
Unlike Joe’s other ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, who has written songs about how much she dislikes him, Demi is still a big fan of Joe’s. She is convinced he didn’t break her heart on purpose and is enjoying spending time with him on their current tour.
"I know that he has the best intentions," she says. "Definitely most guys don't have the same intentions that he does. Working with him on this tour has been fine. It’s been really great.”
