Lisa Marie Presley moves to UK
Lisa Marie Presley The 42-year-old daughter of late singer Elvis Presley, her husband Michael Lockwood and their 22-month-old twin daughters Finley and Harper relocated to a large estate close to Tunbridge Wells, Kent, earlier this week. Lisa Marie is believed to have left Los Angeles because she is tired of being quizzed about her late husband Michael Jackson, who died last June.
The family’s new home boasts 11 bedrooms, an indoor pool, a home cinema, a sauna, a private lake and 90 acres of landscaped grounds. Lisa Marie is said to be thrilled with her decision to leave the US, and already feels completely at ease in her new surroundings.
"She couldn't wait to start a new life in England and felt at home the moment she arrived,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
Lisa Marie has previously spoken of her love of England and its famously rainy climate. She says she dislikes places that are always warm and sunny, and often travels to the UK just for the weather.
"Any place that is perpetually sunny is suspect,” Lisa Marie has said. "I'm the only person who came to England for the weather."
