Katy Perry: Russell keeps me young
Katy Perry The 25-year-old singer got engaged to the British comedian on New Year’s Eve after a whirlwind romance. They are planning to get married later this year, and both Katy and Russell have been extremely vocal about their love for each other.
Katy is currently in Australia promoting her new album Teenage Dream and says the record is all about her romance with Russell and how he has turned her world “upside down”.
"Teenage Dream is about how it's all or nothing when you fall in love as a teenager. You get older and get more disappointed or guarded and that affects your relationships," Katy told the Herald Sun.
"But once in a while, someone comes into your world and just turns it upside down and makes you feel like a giddy teenager."
Although Katy is blissfully happy in her relationship, she does wish her love life was a little more private. She is tired of being constantly quizzed about her upcoming nuptials but lets people think whatever they want because it acts as a smokescreen for her actual plans.
"Even with my wedding, people think they know about everything. OK, whatever you want to think, go ahead and think it," Katy explained.
