Ian McKellen Ian McKellen has criticised the use of CCTV in Britain and said he feels he's watched wherever he goes.
McKellen, who is best known for roles in the Lord of the Rings and X-Men movies, said his road has not yet had cameras installed but is sure it won't be long before they are erected.
According to UK newspaper Daily Express, he said: "London is the most closely observed city in the world. They don't have CCTV footage in my street but it has been proposed.
"If it happens I will be on camera from the moment I leave my front door, on the Underground, through the West End, until I walk into the theatre. Big Brother has arrived. He's around every corner."
