Carrie Underwood's Husband: Wedding Was 'Great'
Carrie Underwood's husband Mike Fisher has said their wedding was "everything we both wanted it to be".
Fisher has opened up about his wedding to the American Idol winner.
He told Canadian newspaper the Ottawa Sun: "The whole weekend is almost like a blur. The ceremony was really nice, the pastor did a great job, the reception was a lot of fun."
He added: "Just to have everyone close to us around was a big deal. A wedding's not nearly as much fun without those close family and friends with you."
The hockey player admits he wasn't really nervous at the ceremony because he was too busy thinking about his wife to be.
Mike said: "The whole day was great - it was everything we both wanted it to be."
And Underwood also seems very smitten with her new husband.
The 27-year-old blogged on her fansite on Wednesday: "I know how blessed I am. I know how special these things are.
"There is nothing in the world that I could possibly ask for because you can't add to perfection!"
The pair wed at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia on July 10 and then took off to Bora Bora and the Napa Valley for their honeymoon.
