Michelle Rodriguez Wants Exciting Movie Script
Michelle Rodriguez has seemingly blasted Hollywood bosses for shooting too many movie remakes.
The actress is bored of reading scripts which stick to the same format, and thinks it’s time someone took a risk with a new kind of movie. Michelle says there are too many re-workings of old tales around at the moment, adding Hollywood is too obsessed with superhero films.
Recent remakes include Clash of the Titans, The A-Team and The Karate Kid, while sci-fi movies such as Green Lantern, Captain America: The First Avenger and The Green Hornet are set to do big business next year.
“I think the industry needs to wake up and stop doing remakes because I'm kind of falling asleep,” Michelle is quoted as saying. “They need to start doing movies about something other than comic books and stuff that come out in the 80s. We've exploited that already.”
The 32-year-old wants to be excited by the movie business again, and hopes someone takes drastic action soon. She worries if things continue the industry will suffer, and people might stop attending the cinema.
“Let’s do something new,” she said. “It’s sleepy time in Hollywood right now and we need to find something else.”
