Selena Gomez Could Be Off For A Week With Sore Throat
Selena Gomez could be off for a week to rest her voice.
Selena's sore throat has forced her to reschedule her performance at the Ohio State Fair on Thursday, reports say.
The newly turned 18-year-old is suffering from strained vocal cords.
And according to The Columbus Dispatch, officials from the fair have released a statement that says she has been ordered by her physician to rest her voice and not travel for a week.
The Ramona and Beezus actress has reportedly rescheduled the Ohio show for November 6 at the Celeste Centre at the Ohio Expo Centre.
The Wizards of Waverly Place star has a busy week ahead of her with shows scheduled for Delaware and New York.
But it looks as though her strained voice might stop her performing.
Gomez took to her Twitter page to discuss her condition.
She wrote: "This sucks ... My throat is sick. I'm not, my throat is. Ugh. Used my laptop to type at dinner since I can't talk... That was interesting."
Selena appeared on TV show Lopez Tonight earlier in the week and had to use a DynaVox voice-enhancing machine to talk to the audience.
