Daniel Radcliffe Apologises To Fans For Comic-Con No-Show
Daniel Radcliffe Radcliffe, who has just turned 21, couldn't make the San Diego-based event because he was in Russia celebrating his birthday.
He told US newspaper the LA Times: "I apologise to all the wishful thinkers for my disappointing non-presence.
"I've never done the Comic-Con thing and I really, really want to experience that."
But the actor revealed that he had an incredible time in Russia.
He said: "It was fantastic, I was in St Petersburg for my birthday, which is probably the most beautiful, the most incredible, wonderful place I've ever been in my life.
"It really is absolutely amazing, I went with two friends and it was brilliant."
Talking about co-star Tom Felton’s recent revelation that he had cried while filming the last scenes of the wizard franchise, he said: "You know what, I'd love to libel him [Felton] and call it a lie, but, darn, he's absolutely right.
"We all three of us – me, and Emma [Watson] – we just wept."
He added: "And I've never seen [co-star] Rupert Grint cry – that was really weird."
