Brian Austin Green To Romance Desperate’s Bree
Brian Austin Green Brian, 37, recently joined the cast of the popular American television drama and it has now been revealed his role will cause a stir on Wisteria Lane. Straight-laced Bree Van de Kamp will shock her neighbours by falling for the rough contractor in one of the main storylines for the latest season of the show.
Marcia is thrilled to be working with the handsome actor and has laughed she is looking forward to filming some steamy scenes together.
“He’s so comfortable in his own skin and has that sort of out there sexuality,” she said. “Don’t tell him I said that!”
Producer Marc Cherry has revealed he wanted Brian – who married Megan Fox last month - to show off his body art on the show as it would make his character’s affair with Bree more shocking.
“Brian has a lot of tattoos and agents asked us if we wanted to cover them up and the writers talked about it. We said no, let’s leave them. I love the idea of Bree being attracted to someone who’s got body art — she’s like, ‘What the heck is that?!’
“In the second episode, Brian takes his shirt off.”
Marc also revealed Vanessa Williams, who is another new addition to the programme, will play a “frenemy” from Lynette Scavo’s past.
Marc went on to discuss other big names he wants to attract to the show. He is keen to tempt former Golden Girls actress Betty White to appear on Desperate Housewives, saying she is a “saucy, sexy gal”.
