Billie Piper Hits Back After Smoking Near Son Criticism
Billie Piper A picture recently surfaced of Billie puffing away in front of her toddler, Winston, with clouds of smoke going into his face.
But the 27-year-old has insisted the snap is misleading.
Billie thinks that the camera angle made her look closer to her son than she actually was.
The picture was taken in London while the Secret Diary of a Call Girl star was out with her husband Laurence Fox and Winston.
British newspaper The Sun reported that a rep for Piper said: "Billie is a responsible parent who values her child's health above all else.
"Though a smoker, she is careful to only do so outside and with consideration to those around her."
The spokesperson added: "Due to the angle from which it is taken, the picture is misleading.
"It does not give a true sense of perspective in relation to the proximity of her son."
Piper married Fox in 2007 and the pair had Winston together in 2008.
