Alicia Keys The couple, who announced their engagement in May, are expecting their first child together later this year and the rapper has enthused about their parenting skills.
"Alicia is definitely one of those great parents-to-be. I'm definitely one of those great parents as well," he said.
"Whatever we're blessed with, boy, girl, twins, that baby is being born to blessed parents," the 31-year-old told People.
Beatz, real name Kasseem Dean, has two sons from previous relationships.
The performer also denied rumours that the couple were set to wed in a lavish ceremony on a yacht.
"People are very creative [with gossip], but it's cool. We have fun with this stuff. [The rumours are that] we're taking a boat to do this and we're like, 'Man, who's paying for that?' " he teased.
