Charlotte Church: Gavin Is Too Immature
Charlotte Church The Welsh singer split from the rugby player last month, just six weeks after they got engaged. The pair have two young children together, and are said to have become close again while discussing childcare recently.
Gavin, 28, is keen to give their relationship another shot and has been bombarding his former fiancée with text messages and phone calls. Charlotte is believed to have told friends she is tired of his immature behaviour and wants to move on with her life.
“Charlotte’s been flitting to and from Gav,” a source close to Charlotte told British magazine New! “One minute she’s considering getting back with him, the next she’s determined not to. Right now she just wants to get on with things.
“There’s no denying that when they get on, they really do get along well. But she’s fed up with the emotional blackmail and thinks he’s just behaved like too much of a c**k.”
Charlotte reportedly decided the five-year relationship was over for good when she decided to go to a Scottish music festival a few weeks ago. The 24-year-old star was looking forward to spending time with her friends and Gavin had agreed to look after the kids. However, she lost her temper when her ex turned up at her house and tried to see her before she left.
“Charlotte was with friends getting ready to leave when Gav drove past and phoned,” the source explained. “He said that the kids had been asking for her but it was clear he was just making an excuse to see her. Charlotte was just rolling her eyes – this was a weekend break for her and Gav wouldn’t even let her have that.
“Charlotte’s getting really p**sed off. Gav makes her feel guilty for spending time in the studio and away from the kids.”
