Evangeline Lilly: I Ride Mopeds In Secret
Evangeline Lilly The actress was thrilled to attend the prestigious French event, and took one of her closest friends with her for the five-day trip. While there the women decided to have some fun, but didn’t want to get caught larking about by the paparazzi.
“I’m there with a friend who’s a complete kook and she says, ‘I want to ride mopeds,’” Evangeline recalled to the British edition of InStyle magazine. “So my security guard sneaks us out of the hotel. I’ve never driven a moped in my life. Within 30 seconds, I crash it! I go for the accelerator instead of the brake. But I get back up and we buzz around town.”
Evangelina finds attending the annual event hard as she is continually followed by photographers and fans. However, she understands it all comes with her job – especially as she loves looking out for famous people while she is there.
“I don’t really keep my eyes peeled – except over the balcony of the hotel room,” she laughed.
